Continuing Nursing Studies

The CNS Continuing Nursing Studies Department offers professional development courses, re-entry programs, and post-basic specialty programs based on assessed needs.

Course offerings are designed to:

  • Facilitate ongoing professional development within a rapidly changing health care system;
  • Support and assist registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to maintain theoretical and clinical expertise;
  • Make learning accessible and affordable through distance education.

We are committed to developing and maintaining nursing competency by providing post-basic specialty and professional development courses that are accessible to all nurses.
